 | Monday, June 12th, 2000: SL Honors Spanishtown Third Baseman So far in his young career, Ronny Arscott has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the South League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Spanishtown Giants third baseman hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Currently Arscott has 8 home runs and a .310 batting average. |
